Susan Wing Schultz, 70. Floral City passed away July 15, 2017 under the care of her family and Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Mrs Schultz was born in Bronxville, NY on August 29, 1946 to the late John Edwin and Marjorie (Mitchell) Wing and moved here 17 years ago from Sarasota, FL. She resided in Rockford, IL prior to moving to Florida.
She was the former manager of Sunshine Lodge in Floral City and a member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness. Susan enjoyed playing bridge, cribbage, and watching football on television. She greeted everyone with a smile and enjoyed being a member of the Golden Girls at Inverness Golf & Country Club on Friday evening. Her family said of her that she was a kind, generous, and loving wife, mother, “Nana”, and friend.
Left to cherish her memory are 2 children, Lee Mitchell Schultz and wife Maureen, of Floral City, and Sally Schultz Werder of Sarasota; 2 brothers, Philip Wing of Belvidere, IL and John Wing of Rockford, IL; 3 grandchildren, Riley, Lily, and Kaley. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Schultz in 2011.
A Requiem Eucharist Service will be offered on Saturday, July 22nd at 11:00 AM from St Margaret’s Episcopal Church with Fr. Eugene Reuman officiating. Private burial will follow later in Florida National Cemetery. Chas E Davis Funeral Home With Crematory is assisting the family.
