Anthony D’Adamo, 86, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away July 11, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 3, 1930 to the late Erasmo and Maria (Campanale) D’Adamo.
Anthony was a carpenter for the New York City Transit Authority, and arrived in this area in 1996, coming from Brooklyn. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. Anthony enjoyed golfing, loved to watch the History Channel and Modern Marvels, liked practicing shooting at the firing range, and loved spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years, Clarisse D’Adamo. Anthony is also survived by his children, John Anthony D’Adamo and his wife Debra of Brooklyn, Robert D’Adamo and his wife Robin of Oceanside, NY, Anthony Edward D’Adamo of Staten Island, NY, and Noelle Punzone and her husband Paul of Brooklyn; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Anthony was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joseph and John D’Adamo, and his sister Filomena D’Adamo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Anthony on Monday, July 17, 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Anthony’s urn will be laid to rest in New York at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL, is assisting the family with arrangements.
