John “Jack” William Joyce, age 91, of Hernando, FL passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Jack was born on October 31, 1925 in Toronto, Canada to the late John George and Winnifred (Payne) Joyce. He proudly served in the Canadian Military and made Hernando, FL his home in 1997. A Christian by faith, he was a parishioner of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Inverness.
Those left to mourn Jack’s passing include his son, John Joyce of Hypoluxo, FL; daughter, Jill Joyce of Landrum, S.C.; brother, Ken Joyce of Ontario, Canada; and sister, Audrey Pile of Cleveland, OH.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is planned for Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM from Cornerstone Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Kell officiating. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
