Robert E. Prest, Sr., age 81, of Dunnellon, FL passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Robert was born on July 30, 1935 in Greenfield, MA to the late Luman T. and Vivian M. (Jackman) Prest.
He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserves. Robert was married to his wife Rose for 53 years until her passing on December 7, 2011. He was a designer and builder of lighting fixtures and made Dunnellon, FL his home in 2002 after relocating from Mills Falls, MA.
Those left to mourn Robert’s passing are his sons: Robert Prest, Jr. of New Jersey, Roger Prest of Dunnellon, FL, Paul Prest and his wife Deena of Massachusetts, Jeffrey Prest and his wife Juley of Beverly Hills, FL; daughter, Tina Prest of Vernon, VT; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
