David G. Mullin, age 74, a winter resident of Bushnell, FL passed peacefully into Glory at his Bushnell residence while surrounded by his loving family on May 18, 2017. David was born February 6, 1943 on the family farm where he was raised in Mannsville, N.Y. to the late Victor Ellis and Clara (Fitzgerald) Mullin.
He served as the Pastor of the Mannsville Full Gospel Assembly for over 40 years and was also a Dairy Farmer and Carpenter. David was a talented gardener who loved growing flowers and a former member of the Sandy Creek Grange in Sandy Creek, N.Y. He also greatly enjoyed woodworking. David had made numerous trips to Florida over the years and was a “snowbird” resident of Bushnell, FL for the last 10 years. While in Florida, he attended worship services at the Cross Connection Church of Bushnell.
Those left to mourn David’s passing are his wife of 10 years, Marie (Cummins) Mullin; sons: Gary Mullin of Sandy Creek, N.Y., Thomas Mullin and his wife Diane of North Syracuse, N.Y., Philip Mullin and his wife Kristi of Canastota, N.Y.; daughters: Debbie Diamond and her husband Robert of St. Joseph, MO, Rebecca Yelle and her husband Steven of Clayton, N.Y.; stepson, John Wood and his wife Robbin of Sandy Creek, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Roberta Clark and her husband Richard of Citra, FL; brothers: Ivan Mullin and his wife Pearl of Scottsville, N.Y., Allen Mullin and his wife Diana of Bushnell, FL; sisters: Mary Gingerich and her husband Steven of Inverness, FL, Clara Elrod of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Betsey Corson; wife of 9 years, Judy (Mills) Potter; son, David D. Mullin; brother, Victor Mullin; and sisters: Ella Mae Blount and Laurentine Rogers.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for David will be held at the Cross Connection Church of Bushnell (formerly called Bushnell Assembly of God) Monday, May 22nd 6:30 PM. A 2nd Memorial Service is planned for David in Mannsville, N.Y. on Saturday, May 27th 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Team Haiti-4-Jesus, PO Box 39, Mannsville, NY 13661.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
