Mitchile C. “Mitch” Saad, Sr., 74, of Floral City, FL passed away on March 16, 2017 at Heron Pointe Health & Rehab in Brooksville, FL. He was born in Greenville, SC on December 29, 1942 to the late Charles E. and Cleo (Goode) Saad.
Mitch owned his own carpet and ornamental rug store. He was a Catholic by faith, and a U.S. Army veteran. Mitch arrived in this area in 1988, coming from Largo, FL. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7122 in Floral City. Mitch also held memberships with the Disabled American Vets, and the Sheriff’s Association.
He is survived by his loving wife Brenda Lee Saad of Floral City. Other survivors include his children, Mitch C. Saad, Jr. of Floral City, and Nancy McCarthy also of Floral City; brothers Charley Saad, Jr. and Charles E. Saad; grandchildren Connie, Ryan, and Johnny McCarthy, and Amanda Saad; and great-grandchild Chance McCarthy.
Mitch’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
