Eric W. Sundquist, 78 of Homosassa, passed away Tuesday, Februrary 14, 2017 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on June 1, 1938 to the late Harold and Annie (Sword) Sundquist, Eric started visiting Citrus County in 2009 and moved here permanently in 2012 from up state New York.
He retired as an auditor after 45 years from Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT. While working for them he had the opportunity to work in Norway and Sweden on several occasions. Eric was a US Army veteran, a member of the NRA, and a Boy Scout Leader for 12 years. He was a recreational pilot and had built and re-modeled his own plane.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Mike Sundquist and his wife Laura, of Homosassa; his grandsons: Matthew and Tyler and his companion of 12 years, Patty Prest.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremtory, Inverness.
