Paul H Thill

Paul H. Thill, 99, of Inverness, FL passed away February 1, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 18, 1917 to the late Joseph N. and Catherine (Hanke) Thill. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran who served in WWII, and a Catholic by faith. He arrived in this area in 2003, coming from Athens, NY. Paul attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness and was a life time member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul was a truck dispatcher for United Fruit Company/Chiquita Bananas. He enjoyed going on cruises, playing card games, especially “31”, and had a big sweet tooth. Paul had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Ann Thill. Other survivors include his step-children Marcus Miller of Inverness, and James Miller and his wife Mary Ann of Athens, NY; 3 step-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren; niece Judy and Nephew Thomas. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
