Mary “Beth” Wilkinson

Mary “Beth” Wilkinson, 71, of Inverness, FL passed away January 22, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. She was born in Morristown, NJ on August 13, 1945 to the late Joseph J. and Frances H. (Lennon) Durham.

Beth was a nursing home Administrative Assistant, and arrived in this area in 2004, coming from Bushnell, FL. She was non-denominational by faith, and loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. Beth also loved to travel with her sister, shopping, and collecting gemstones. She had a special love for horses, winning ribbons in barrel racing competitions.

Beth is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Roy “Wayne” Wilkinson. She is also survived by her children, Michael Karagines and his wife Karen of Brooksville, FL, Timothy Karagines of Inverness, and Veronica Andrews, also of Inverness; brother Kevin Durham and his wife Helene of Inverness, and sister June Johnson also of Inverness; 10 grandchildren: Ashtin, Daylin, Jordin, Brandon, Trevor, Zachary, Heath, Hanna, Jennah, and Kaylee; and 1 great-grandchild, Vera Lynn. Beth was preceded in death by one brother, Pete Durham.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service with a gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Friday, January 27, 12:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness. The family will be receiving friends in visitation at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Beth’s name to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, PO Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
