Claudia “Candi” Lynn Matyisin, 63, Inverness went home to her Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. “Candi” was born in Lafayette, Indiana to the late James E. and Ida Mae (Crump) Medlin and came to Citrus County in 2007 from Ft. Lauderdale. She was a retired Respiratory Therapist and member of NorthRidge Church in Inverness. She also was involved with Citrus County Habitat For Humanity.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, LeeAnna Lynn Santore-Sloan of Inverness; 2 grandchildren, Chey Matyisin and Kimberly Sloan; 2 great-grandchildren, Myah and Colton; Fiance Rocky Bourbeau and his family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Janie Nicholson and Linda Medlin.
A Celebration of Life Service for Candi will be conducted at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00 with Pastor Kennie Berger of the NorthRidge Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to NorthRidge Church, 400 Adelphi Street, Inverness, FL 34452.
