Tina M Holcomb

TINA MARIE HOLCOMB, 34, of Belleview, FL, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, FL, after being struck by a vehicle and hospitalized. Tina was born in Cleveland, OH, on February 22, 1982, and she came to Inverness, FL, in 1997 from Mantua, OH. Tina studied culinary arts and worked several years as a chef before shelving her love of cooking to join her family’s business as an electrician at Exceptional Electric.

Tina loved the beach, enjoyed shopping, and never left the house without her toe nails painted. She was saved at First Baptist Church, Streetsboro, OH, and she believed everyone had a guardian angel watching over them. She had a big heart and loved to help others, which reflected in her gift of organ donation to two recipients following her passing.

Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her parents, David and Karlene Holcomb of Inverness; brother, Bryan Holcomb of Inverness, and his wife, Janna; sister, Diana Tippett, and her husband, Brad, of Summerfield, FL; niece, Braelyn; nephews, Ozzy and Isac; maternal grandparents, Sophie and Dale Moore; and paternal grandmother, Barbara Holcomb. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Chester Holcomb. Tina also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles: Kenneth Holcomb and wife Laura; Roger Holcomb and wife Robin; Howard Holcomb; Vanessa Holcomb; Brenda Holcomb; Sabrina Finney and husband Matthew; Linda Grimm and husband Kevin; Keith Moore and wife Susan; and Kathy Moore and companion Ronnie. Her time here was also shared by extended family, friends, and her numerous cousins, those lost and the ones still with us.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 7:00 PM at the Charles E. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, Inverness, led by Rev. Greg Kell, Pastor of the Cornerstone Babtist Church. Friends may call or visit the funeral home on this date between 5:00 PM and the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be made in Tina’s memory to continue giving to those in need of life-saving organ donation to: Life Quest, Tower 11, Box T37, 580 W. 8th St., Suite 8001, Jacksonville, FL  32209.
