Daniel Leroy McCafferty, age 67, of Dunnellon, FL died at his residence on December 20, 2016. Daniel was born on June 12, 1949 in Erie, PA to the late William George and Brenda Mae (Brant) McCafferty. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Daniel is survived by son, David McCafferty of Union City, PA; daughter, Danita McCafferty of Louisiana; and sister, Barbara Underwood and her husband Grady of Dunnellon, FL. Daniel’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
