Iva Gray Hatcher, 91, of Inverness, FL passed away November 18, 2016 under the care of Arbor Trail Rehab & Nursing in Inverness. She was born in Flat Top, West Virginia on May 29, 1925 to the late Londy and Roxie (Stanley) Lilly. Iva was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 1987 coming from Lorraine, OH. She was a Baptist by faith, and enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Iva was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Austin Hatcher. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth E Hatcher and his wife Carol of Largo, FL, and Dempsey R. Hatcher and his wife Tina of Vernon, AL; and his sister Lina Hershey of North Ridgeville, OH; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Iva are scheduled for Monday, November 21, 11:00 A.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness with the family receiving friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Inverness following the serivce.
