Tristram L Souther Sr

Tristram L.”Tut” Souther, Sr., age 81, of Homosassa, FL, died at his home with his loving wife by his side on August 21, 2016. Tristram was born on May 14, 1935 in Salisbury, MA to the late Furmer and Daisy (Fowler) Souther. On July 15, 1988, he married Virginia “Ginny” Morgan Kittredge, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. In 1991, Tristram and Ginny made Citrus County their home after moving from Salisbury, MA. He was employed as a cook in the food industry throughout his lifetime. Tristram truly enjoyed cooking and even did so in his spare time. He also enjoyed watching television, especially to keep up with current political issues. In addition to his loving wife Ginny, Tristram’s passing will be mourned by his sons: Tristram Souther, Jr. (Donna) of Rochester, NH, Andrew Souther (Dawn) of Crystal River, FL; daughters: Sheila Coombs (Howard) of Fremont, N.H., Deborah Souther of Haverhill, MA; brother: Alan Souther (Gail) of Seabrook, N.H.; stepdaughter: Laurie Kittredge of Vermont; and six grandchildren. Tristram was preceded in death by his son: David Souther; brothers: Furmer Souther, Jr. and Andrew Souther; and stepsons: Scott Kittredge and Brian Kittredge. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
