John “Marty” Norris

John “Marty” Norris, age 49, of Inverness, FL died peacefully at his home on August 15, 2016 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Marty was born on December 10, 1966 in Chattanooga, TN to Linda (Martin) Norris and John Everett East and later adopted by Grady Taylor Norris. He made Inverness his home five years ago after moving here with his family from Rossville, GA. A man of faith, Marty regularly attended services at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Inverness. He greatly enjoyed fishing in his spare time and was a member of The Lighthouse organization of Inverness. Those left to mourn Marty’s passing are his mother: Linda Norris; brother: Phillip Norris and his wife Tara; his step-mother: Louise Norris; three step-brothers: Rick Norris, Don Norris and his wife Janice, Glen Norris and his wife Deloris; two step-sisters: Dianne Buckner and her husband George and Melissa East. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
