George Paterson Wallace, age 71, of Citrus Springs, FL died August 12, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL. George was born on June 27, 1945 in Peterhead, Scotland to the late George and Evelyn (Patterson) Wallace. In 1973, he married Seta Kaptanian with whom he shared 43 years of loving marriage. George and Seta made Citrus Springs, FL their home in June of 2014 after moving from Elizabeth, Colorado. George was a member of the Boy Scouts as a child. In his spare time, he enjoyed making Arts and Crafts, especially figurines. George also enjoyed metal detecting, fishing, collecting model boats and gardening. George loved music, especially the Bagpipes. He was a proud Scotsman and extremely proud of his Scottish heritage. George was an animal lover and had a special fondness for hedgehogs. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved very much. He also had a special place in his heart for his “grandpuppies”. A man of faith, he attended services at the Reflections Church in Citrus Springs, FL. In addition to his loving wife Seta, those left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory are his son: George Wallace and his wife Chiahsin of Redmond, WA; his daughter: Mona Loptien and her husband Garrik of Littleton, CO; sisters: Margaret Lawson of Arbroath, Scotland and Sheila Chambers of Stranda, England; and four grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Connor, Logan and Skylar. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be offered at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Reflections Church, Citrus Springs, FL. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
