Barbara Jean Allen, age 75, of Hernando, FL died July 27, 2016 at Avante of Inverness. Barbara was born on December 2, 1940 in Portsmouth, NH to the late Charley and Helen (Royne) Elliott. She was an accomplished seamstress and even made a lot of her own clothes.
Barbara is survived by three sisters, Carol Blanche of Berwick, ME, Joyce Elliott of Portsmouth, N.H. and Diane Elliott of Dover, N.H. She will also be greatly missed by her very special friend and caregiver, Patsy A. Dilbert of Inverness.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
