Frances J. Evey, 87, of Inverness, FL passed away July 23, 2016 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL. She was born in Tallahassee, FL on March 19, 1929 to the late Theron and Frances (Davis) Marshall.
Frances was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 2000, coming from Sulva, NC. She was a protestant by faith, and enjoyed sewing, reading, music, and dancing.
Left to mourn her loss is her loving husband of 70 years, Walker S. Evey, Jr. Other survivors include her children Wlaker L evey and his wife Virginia of Springfield, VA, Cindy Deja Mason and Mari-Jo Shepherd and her husband Jim of Floral City, FL, half brother Thomas Marshall of Falls Church, VA, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchldren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Marshall.
Services for Frances will be private. Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family with arrangements.
