Sally A. Wellman, 79, of Hernando, Florida departed to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 16, 2016 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. She was born on January 6, 1937 in Clinton, IL to the late Theodore and Eleanor (Foster) Roseman.
Sally was a home health aide and a devoted Christian by faith. She arrived in this area in 1992, coming from West Palm Beach, FL. Sally was a prayer warrior, and loved attending prayer meetings. She also enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets, dancing, and music.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, James Wellman. She is also survived by her children: Denny Hoff and his wife Nancy of Elkton, FL, John Hoff of Indiantown, FL, Lori Merschdorf and her husband Tom of Belleview, FL, Marcia Leonard of Lenoir, NC, and Brenda Heavin of Hernando, FL; stepchildren: Jeff Wellman of Joplin, MO, Ralph Wellman of Inverness, FL, James Patrick Wellman and his wife Blanca of Crystal River, FL, Jessie Lee Wellman, also of Crystal River, Donna Van Auken of Beverly Hills, FL, Carolyn Brown, also of Beverly Hills, and Kelly Klopfenstein and her husband James of Jamestown, TN; brothers: Jerry Roseman of Decatur, IL, Theodore Roseman, Jr. and sisters Betty Kyle and Mary Burton, all of Clinton, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Cathy Heath, Gregory Grove and Timothy Grove.
“I pray that all my children will give their lives to Jesus, and get filled with the Holy Ghost. For all my children and spouses and grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and, all generations on down, be with me in Heaven”.
