Helen Marie Sedivy, 95, Inverness passed away July 16, 2016 at New Horizons Assisted Living Facility. Helen was born in Bronx, NY on Oct 31, 1920 to the late Frederick and Madeline (Nichols) Bruns.
She moved to Florida in 1983 from Lindenhurst, NY. Helen was a retired Administrative Assistant for Fairchild and Republic Avaition with 31 years of service and was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Inverness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert Sedivy in 2003 and her 3 sisters, Annette Sinisi, Madeline McGuire, and Eleanor Schwartz. Left to mourn her loss and keep her precious memories is her daughter, Barbara Domino and her husband, Anthony of Citrus Springs; 1 grandson, Jason and 3 great grandchildren, Damyon, Hailey, and Bella.
Helen’s life will be remembered and celebrated at a service on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with The Rev. Tom Beaverson, pastor of The First Lutheran Church of Inverness officiating. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to First Lutheran Church of Inverness.
