Eleanor E. Campbell, 89, Beverly Hills passed away July 2, 2016 in the Citrus Hills Health & Rehab Center in Hernando. Mrs Campbell was born in Detroit, MI on March 24, 1927 to the late Walter and Mabel (Marks) Van Slyck and moved here from Detroit, MI in 1984. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Inverness. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory is her husband of 67 years, Joseph E. Campbell, Beverly Hills; her son, Gary J. and his wife, Calah of Jacksonville; her daughter, Susan Porto and husband Charles of Torrance, CA.
3 grandchildren, Adam, Chad, and Kyle; 3 great grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, and Marissa. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul on May 30, 2004.
Friends and family are invited to attend A Requiem Eucharist Service for Eleanor at St Margaret’s Episcopal Church on Friday, July 8th at 10:00 AM with Fr. Eugene Reuman, Celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date in Florida National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eleanor’s memory are being accepted by Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 2939 W. Gulf To Lake Hwy., Lecanto, FL 34461 or the St. Margaret’s Memorial Fund.
