Joseph Camino, age 89, of Bushnell, FL died June 18, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Joseph was born on September 19, 1926 in Vineland, NJ to the late Michael and Palmina (Di Tamasso) Camino. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. After his military service, Joseph went on to work as a service technichian for the RCA company for many years. In 1975, Joseph married Shirley Zinn with whom he shared 40 wonderful years of marriage. 31 years ago, they made Florida their home after relocating from Vineland, NJ. Joseph was a skilled repairman and technichian and greatly enjoyed tinkering with electronics in his spare time. He truly loved learning new things. Joseph enjoyed the advancements made in technology and how easily and quickly one could obtain new facts, information and knowledge. He loved learning about new things any chance he could get. Joseph also liked to travel. He especially enjoyed the drive up to New Jersey to visit his friends and family. In addition to his loving wife Shirley, Joseph is survived by one daughter: Jodi Camino-Bailey and her husband, Paul of Webster, FL; brother: Paul Camino and his wife Carmella of Rosenhayn, NJ; and sister: Mary Olmo of Vineland, NJ. Joseph’s urn will be laid to rest in New Jersey at a later date. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
