Brian J. Smith, age 52, died June 11, 2016 in Hernando, FL. Brian was born on December 16, 1963 in Somerville, MA to the late James T. and Frances P. (Jewers) Smith.
He made Citrus County his home 24 years ago after relocating from Boston, MA with his family. Brian was a member of the Boy’s Club in his youth. He was a great cook and worked in the restaurant industry for many years. Brian also enjoyed boating and fishing.
He is survived by his brother, John Heatley of Inverness, FL and was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Ann Smith on October 3, 2015.
Brian and Elizabeth’s urns will be laid to rest together at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City, FL at a later date. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
