Joyce Joann Moon, age 84, of Floral City, FL, died April 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Joyce was born on January 21, 1932 in East Detroit, MI to the late George and Mary (Fawcett) Little.
Six years ago, she moved from Michigan and settled in Floral City, FL. A Catholic by faith, Joyce is a former member of St. Cyrils Catholic Church in Nashville, MI. She is also a former member of the Nashville, MI, VFW and also the Floral City, FL, VFW.
In her younger years, Joyce loved to dance. She continued to enjoy crocheting, knitting, jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. Joyce also loved to read and working in the garden.
Those left to mourn her passing are three sons: Ed Moskwa, Edward Moskwa and Tom Fenner; four daughters: Lila Sokol, Valorie Peters, Tammy Mead and Kim Zinger. Joyce is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces, Leslie, Tory and Cathy. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Moon and one daughter, Katrina Fenner.
Joyce’s urn will be laid to rest in Michigan at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
