Richard Deward Pruett 62, Inverness died at home suddenly Feb 24, 2016. Deward was born on June 17, 1953 in Ft Myers, FL to the late Jefferson and Estelle V. (Akers) Pruett and moved to this area from St Petersburg.
He was the former owner and operator of Done Rite Hardwood Flooring Company in Inverness, being a skilled wood floor installer for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his Harley, but most of all, spending time with his wife, Sharon.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Casey) Pruett; 2 step sons, Timothy and Rickey Herndon; a brother, Billy Pruett, and 6 grandchildren.
Deward’s life will be remembered at a gathering on Saturday, Feb. 27th from 2-6 PM at Pott’s Preserve, 2988 N. Hooty Point Rd., Inverness. Friends are invited to join the family and celebrate Deward’s life.
