Beverly Jo Volmar, age 60, of Floral City, FL, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of the staff of HPH Hospice, Lecanto. Beverly was born on June 2, 1955 in Frankfort, KY to the late Norton and Thelma Lou (Hockensmith) Sudduth. She proudly served her country as a member of the United States Air Force. Beverly moved to the Citrus County area 25 years ago from St. Petersburg. She was a member of the Floral City VFW Post #7122, and was also their bookkeeper. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and working in her yard where she could plant flowers and plants. Beverly was very handy and had worked very hard to fix up her home. She loved animals, especially horses. Beverly will be remembered for her independent nature, her big heart, her generosity and cool character. She was someone who rarely got angry, took life in stride and was a wonderful, loving and generous person. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her precious memory are her daughter, Jennifer Jenkins of Seminole, FL; two brothers, Paul (Joanne) Sudduth of Brooksville, FL and George (Pamela) Sudduth of St. Petersburg, FL; and her sister, Terry Duncan of Oldsmar, FL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, George Volmar, on July 7, 2010. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
