Verla D. Moffat, 79, of Lecanto, FL passed away January 30, 2016 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. She was born on November 6, 1936 in Stockbridge, MI to the late Clifton and Florence (Corser) Osborne.
Verla was a nurse’s aide, and arrived in this area in 1998, coming from Gregory, MI. She was a Jehovah’s Witness by faith, and enjoyed fishing in Canada, snowmobiling, going to yard sales, and reading.
Verla is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul D. Moffat. Her other survivors include her children, Perry (Charlotte) Moffat of Hinkley, MN, Clifton (Penny) Moffat of Gregory, MI, Anthony Moffat of St. Augustine, FL, Paul S. Moffat of Homosassa, FL, and Michelle R. (Jason) Moffett of Martin, MI; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
