Maryanne K. Kocinski, age 66, of Inverness, FL, died January 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Maryanne was born on September 29, 1949 in Ann Arbor, MI to the late John and Lyda (Rowe) Kocinski.
In 1985, Maryanne moved to Inverness from Mesa, AZ and worked for a number of years for the Citrus County School system. She was intrigued by the paranormal and enjoyed ghost hunting and visiting psychics. Maryanne also loved the Disney theme parks and going to the movies. When she was younger, she enjoyed horseback riding. Maryanne loved animals, especially dogs. She will be greatly missed by her miniature pinscher, Jack.
Left to cherish Maryanne’s memory and mourn her passing is her son, Shawn Kocinski, of Inverness, FL. A Celebration of Life will be offered on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends in visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
