WYATT L. “Nicky” CHAMBLIN, 85 of Inverness, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Inverness. Mr. Chamblin was born in Leesburg, Florida on September 6, 1930 to the late Nicholas and Mary (Smith) Chamblin and came to this area in the 1940. He retired from the Inverness Post Office as a window service technician with 27 years of service and served our country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by three children, David Chamblin of Inverness; Steven (Katherine) Chamblin, Lecanto; Heather (Nick) Stagg, Oxford, FL; 1 sister, Anita Patterson, St. Mary, GA; 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joanne Chamblin May 28, 2006, a brother, William Chamblin and a sister, Joanne Thatcher.
