Joan A Huscher, 77, Inverness died suddenly Jan 23, 2016 at her home. She was born in Bronx, NY on February 25, 1938 to the late John and Mary (Moran) McNeill and moved here in 1988 from Meriden, CT.

She enjoyed traveling, scrap booking and was of the Catholic Faith. Her memberships include the Ladies Auxillary of the Fleet Reserve Association (Branch 147) and member at large of the Navy Wives Club of America.

Left to mourn her loss is her husband of 52 years, Robert W. Huscher; two children, Robert Huscher and wife Debbie, Durham, CT; Kellie Ann Pennington, Nancy, KY; five brothers and sisters, George McNeill of Dandy, VT; William McNeill , Tucson, Arizona; Patricia Fletcher, Long Island, NY; Eileen Nessim, Beth Page, NY; Maureen Sandwith, Bartlesville, OK; four grandchildren, Zachary, Rowan, Bobby,and Jack. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Charles McNeill and sister, Kathleen Murphy.

A Celebration of Joan’s life is planned for Saturday, Feb 13th, 2:00 PM at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Alexander officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chas E Davis Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family at the time of services.
