Diane Irene Rinaldi, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2015 at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Cypress Cove Care Center and hospice staff in Crystal River.
Diane was born on October 14, 1936 in New York, NY to the late Karl and Irene (Hamborsky) Sandstrom. In 1945, while living in St. Petersburg, FL, she met Robert Rinaldi whom she married in 1956, and shared 59 years of marriage.
Before she became ill, Diane was an avid gardner, crafter and enjoyed knitting. She was a member of the American Businesswoman Association – Futura Chapter. She loved to travel with her husband, making memories from Alaska to Hawaii. Diane worked as an office manager for her and her husband’s heating and air conditioning company for a number of years. She will be remembered as a loving, caring lady to her friends and family.
Left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing are her husband, Robert Rinaldi; four children, Bobby (Shelly) Rinaldi of Chulepta, FL, Ronald (Linda) Rinaldi of Orlando, FL, Russell (Denise) Rinaldi of Mims, FL and Sharon Rinaldi of Orlando, FL; Eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The Charles E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
