James Gavin Kelly, Jr., of Inverness, FL, died December 3, 2015 at the age of 74. James was born on July 31, 1941 in Milford, CT to the late James Gavin, Sr. and Mabel (Briggs) Kelly.
In 2005, he moved to Citrus county from Wharton, NJ with his wife and son. James was employed throughout his life as an environmental engineer. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and hunting. In his youth, James enjoyed playing sports including basketball and tennis.
Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory are his son, Scott Kelly of Inverness, FL; two brothers, Kevin Kelly and his wife Michele of Orange, CT, and Robert Kelly of Plantsville, CT. He also leaves behind one sister, Judy Brown and her husband Ronald of Crawfordsville, IN. James was preceded in death by his loving wife Judith.
