Gerald “Glenn” Boyette

Gerald “Glenn” Boyette passed away peacefully at his residence Wednesday June 24, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Glenn was born October 15, 1942 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Green and Eva (Boutwell) Boyette. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had retired from the Florida Department of Transportation. In his spare time, Glenn enjoyed fishing and going to flea markets. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Serena “Sandy” Boyette; son, Michael and his wife Vickie Boyette of Lakeland, Florida; step-son, Charles “Andy” Kiess and his wife Sandy of Corpus Christi, Texas; and step-son, Adam and his wife Michelle Kiess of Springfield, Ohio. Also left to cherish his memory are several grandchildren but he will be especially missed by his grandsons, Anthony and Jonah Kiess; and his faithful little girl, Bella. A memorial service in Glenn’s honor will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
