GAETANE “GAY” JACKSON, age 82, Inverness, died September 8, 2015 under the care of Citrus Hills Health and Rehabilitation. Gaetane was born on August 13, 1933 in Garthby, Quebec, Canada to the late Achille and Laurette (Raich) Roy.
Gay was employed by the Univeristy of Connecticut in the food service division. She enjoyed going out dancing, listening to music and karaoke. A devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years, Richard Jackson, daughters Gail Musco (husband-Barry), Litchfield, NH, Sandra Jackson (husband-Kenneth Coogan), Ossining, NY and Michelle Jackson (husband-John McCarville), Tilton, NH; brothers Fernand Roy, Roger Roy and Germain Roy; sisters Therese Roy, Marielle Smith and Collette Lessard and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. The family will greet friends in visitation from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
