Angelina Julia Turno, 90, Inverness passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at her home. Loving Care Home Services and Hospice assisted the family. She was born in New York City on November 8, 1924 to the late Anthony and Concetta (Contino) Belisario and came to Citrus County in 1980 from Staten Island with her husband, Alfonso Turno who died Feb 11, 2013. They were married for 67 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Angelina dearly loved her family, enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and was an outstanding cook.
Left to mourn her loss are two daughters, Susan Kish of Forked River, NJ and Constance Turno of Boca Raton, FL; her brother, Michael Belisario of Staten Island, NY and her sister, Ida Caputo of Brick, NJ; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, July 1st at 10:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Church with Fr. Tim Cummings, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery. Reposing hours from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home Tuesday from 3-8 PM with Wake Vigil Service at 6:30 PM.
