Vito Joseph Delgorio, Jr., age 45, Inverness, was called home on June 19, 2015 to be with his Lord. He was the husband of Tina Marie Delgorio and Father of Vito J. Delgorio, III. He is survived by his loving parents Vito Joseph Delgorio, Sr. and Judith A. Delgorio, sister Denise A. Kujat and brother-in-law Jayson, nephew Julian and niece Jocelyn, Father and Mother-in-Law Charles and Linda Watts, Brother-in-Laws Charlie and Wally, niece Jordan, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends. Vito was born in Wurzburg, Germany in 1970 while his father served in the U.S. Army. Vito attended Our Lady of Queen of Peace Elementary School, Monsignor Farrell High School and Wagner College, was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity on Staten Island, NY. In 1991, Vito moved to Spring Hill, Florida where he met Tina Marie Watts. In 1993, they were married and headed to Gainesville, Florida to complete their education. Vito graduated from Sante Fe College in computer sciences and Tina received her Master’s Degree in Education. Vito joined F and H Contractors of Crystal River, Florida in 2001 as their systems administrator. Vito was an avid gamer and enjoyed camping with his family. He was a Committee member of Boy Scouts Troop 457 and the Awards Chairman for Cub Scout Pack 302. Vito was a hard-working, loving husband and father. He was a loving and considerate man who befriended any person he met. He loved to smile and tell jokes which everyone loved. He was kind, generous and loving. His sudden departure cannot be explained but those of faith will certainly understand that when we get our call, we must go home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Hills of Rest Cemetery. The family invites friends in visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
