RALPH E. WOLF, age 89, Inverness, died May 6, 2015 under the loving care of the staff of Citrus Health and Rehab. Ralph was born on December 19, 1925 in Spring Garden Township, PA to the late Carvis and Pauline (Smoak) Wolf. He served our country in the United States Navy during WWII with service in the Philippine Islands and the Asiatic Pacific and European Theaters as a gunner’s mate. Ralph was a self-employed plaster and stucco contractor; he enjoyed his work and taught his sons the trade. He was an accomplished fisherman and also liked traveling and camping. He grew and tended a beautiful garden each year. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 64 years, Shirley Wolf, sons John (Nancy) Wolf and Stephen Wolf, Floral City; daughters Mary (Lance) Dotson, Inverness and Lois (Daniel) Scott, Columbia, SC; his sister Earlene White, OR; grandchildren Carvis, Johnathan, Michelle and great-grandchildren Aubryona, Natasha and Leigna. He was preceded in death by a brother Lloyd Wolf and sister Jean Killian. Inurnment will take place privately at Florida National Cemetery. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
