Howard D Osteen

Howard David Osteen, 70, of Brooksville, FL passed away April 26, 2015 at Brooksville Health Care Center, Brooksville, FL. He was born in Crystal River, FL on October 16, 1944 to the late Thomas Leonard and Mattie (Lane) Osteen. Howard was a truck driver, and arrived in this area in 2004, coming from Haines City, FL. He was a Baptist by faith, and member of the American Legion Post #155, Crystal River, FL. He was preceded in death by his siblings Paul, Lawrence, and Irene. He is survived by children Howard D. and William D. Osteen, and Tracy Ann; brothers Bennett Osteen, Sr. and Horace Osteen, and sister Linda Trimble; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, 1:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL. The family will be receiving friends in visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial with military honors will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL., following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
