June M Grinestaff

JUNE M. GRINESTAFF, age 88, formerly of Inverness, died on April 17, 2015 at The Abbey in St. Petersburg. June was born on May 30, 1926 in Pontiac, MI to the late Bernard and Lottie (Dow) Ainsworth. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and her church ministry and Bible study through First Presbyterian of Inverness. She enjoyed going on long country drives with her late husband and especially at the Christmas season and delighted in seeing the Christmas lights. June was an active member of the “McDonald’s Breakfast Club.” Left to cherish her memory is her son and his wife Dennis and Patricia Grinestaff, Beverly Hills; her daughter and her husband Nancy and Ronald Foley, Inverness; three grandchildren Heather, Joseph and Amy and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Leon Grinestaff. Burial will be private at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. A celebration and tribute to June’s life will be announced at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
