Craig A. Woolverton, 80, of Inverness, FL passed away March 6, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL. He was born on September 29, 1934 to the late Paul and Alice (Lenschner) Woolverton. Craig was an automobile mechanic and arrived in this area in 20 years ago, coming from Michigan. He was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Inverness, and loved to work on cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Betty Woolverton. Other survivors include daughters Cindy (Wayne) Moore of Jacksonville, FL, Gaylle Woolverton of Benton Harbor, MI; step-children Joseph (Vicki) Wenta and Elizabeth (Bill) Wenta-Schneider of Orlando, FL; and grandchildren George, Chris, and Jordan. A Celebration of Craig’s life is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 3:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, with the family receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
