Betty Santana

Betty Santana, 89 of Lecanto passed away March 1, 2015 in the Hospice of Citrus and The Nature Coast in Inverness.. Mrs Santana was born in Tribune, Kansas June 27, 1925 to the late Phillip and Myrtle (Lease) Bennett and came to this area in 1978 from Miami, Florida. She and her husband, Theodore, were one of the founding members of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto and was also a member of the Citrus County Good Time Cloggers.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Theodore Santana and two grandchildren, Theodore and Terri. Her son, Theodore Santana, III passed away in 2001.

Betty’s life will be celebrated on Friday, March 6th at 10:45 AM at the Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ray Cortese officiating. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church prior to services. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials in memory of Betty are being accepted by the Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church.
