Jonathan C Burke

JONATHAN CHRISTOPHER BURKE, age 26, passed away on February 9, 2015 at his residence. Jonathan was born on May 26, 1988 in Shrewsbury, England to Colin Michael Burke and Marjorie (Clarke) Burke. Jonathan enjoyed music immensely and was a gourmet eater; his favorite subject at school was lunch! He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and a bright shining spirit. His unforgettable smile and vibrant personality won the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He graduated from CREST School in 2010 where the dedicated staff attended to his special needs. “Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more. The Lord will be your everlasting light; and your days of sorrow will end. Isaiah 60:20.” We will meet again. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Colin Burke and Marjorie Burke, paternal grandmother Margot Burke; his Uncle Alan Burke, Aunt Gillian Burke and cousin Linda Edgcumbe from England. In the United States, he was loved by a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in the Clarke family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather John William Burke and maternal grandparents Vincent and Shirley Clarke.
