Eleanora M Knox

ELEANORA M. KNOX, age 94, Inverness, died January 30, 2015 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County and her loving family. Eleanora was born on July 27, 1920 in Elmhurst, IL to the late William and Anna (Kolzow) Wendt. She was employed by Fern International, a food service company as a commercial accountant, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Eleanora loved spending time needlepointing and crocheting and especially liked flower gardening. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Chuck Spikes of Inverness; her sister Verdelle Krueger, Littleton, CO; grandchildren Don, Darlene, Dawn, Carrie, Robyn, great-grandchildren Jessica, Megan, Danielle, Nicole, Kayden, Madison and great-great grandchildren Kyla, Steven, Jovani, Addison and Trevor. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Knox and sisters Lydia and Lorraine. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private arrangements.
