Wilma A. Anderson, 92, of Floral City, FL. passed away December 2, 2014 at her residence in Floral City. She was born on August 25, 1922 in Granville, PA to the late John G. and Margarite (Heiner) Harris. Wilma arrived in this area in 1946, coming from Beaver Falls, PA., and was the Supervisor of Elections for Citrus County for 30 years, and member of the Floral City Methodist Church. She was also a very respected member of the community; serving as a member of the board of Citrus County Fairgrounds, the board of Key Training Center, the Floral City Board, the Democratic Club, the SHARE Club, and acted as Secretary for the Floral City Methodist Church. Wilma loved her orchids and plants, and enjoyed hard tack candy. She will be greatly missed by her family, and the community. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Pic Harris, her loving companion Larry Combs, 1 grand-daughter, 3 great-grandsons, and her best buddy, “Sam”. Survivors include her loving children, Davis Anderson of Orlando, FL, Gregg (Lori) Anderson of Floral City, Carolyn (Tony) Hohmann of Inverness, FL, Donna (Michael) Ketchel of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Joni G. (George) Eastman of Floral City, Dava Anderson of Floral City, Wilma “Willy” McClain of Inverness, FL, step-daughter Debra Combs and her sons, 23 Grandchildren, 46 Great grandchildren and 3 Great-great grandchildren; as well as her loving, extended family including Amanda Tooke (Gene) Mullen and family, and Valerie Parker Duke and her family. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service is scheduled for Sunday, 3:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Invernesss with the family receiving friends at the church one hour prior to service. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, is in charge of the arrangements.
