Jacqueline (Jackie) Herring Moloney passed away on November 26, 2014 at 86 years of age. Jackie was born on December 6, 1927 to Wallace and Frances (Patterson) Herring in Macon, GA. She married Edward M. Moloney and he preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage. Jackie worked in her early adulthood for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Miami where they lived until Ed retired from Eastern Airlines. She was a housewife before and after moving from Miami to Inverness. Jackie volunteered at Citrus Memorial Hospital for several years. Jackie was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a genuinely sweet, loving person and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Lynch (Dennis) of Columbia, MO; grandson Rob Lynch (Rebecca) and two great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Andrew of Olathe, Kansas; her Uncle Luther Patterson and his son Roger Patterson. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Alton Stevens, her very special friend of the past several years for his care and kindness. A celebration of life and tribute to Jackie’s life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory with Hospice Chaplain Charles Johnson officiating.
