Larry Raymond Locklear, 65, of Bushnell, Florida passed away August 29, 2014 at his residence in Bushnell. He was born in Tampa, Florida on July 22, 1949 to the late Fairley J. and Frankie C. (Collins) Locklear. Larry was a truck driver, a Protestant by faith, and arrived in this area in 1996, coming from Tampa. He, along with his wife Cynthia, provided vocals and music for entertainment, which was known as “Mad Cow Music”. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, scuba diving, all types of outdoor activities, and making friends and spending time with people. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Cynthia Locklear. Other survivors include children Ryan Locklear of Greensboro, N.C., Robyn (Ricky) Umfress of Clemmons, N.C., and step-son Edward E. Linsky of Jacksonville, FL; brother Randy Locklear; sisters Brenda G. Locklear and Rhonda K. Aubuchon; and granddaughters Rebecca, Brianna, and Novalei. Funeral Services for Larry are scheduled for Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, Florida. The family will receive friends in visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Burial will occur at Bay Hill Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors, immediately following the service.
