Junior D Quillen

Junior Dunk “JD” Quillen, 71, of Bushnell, Florida passed away on August 22, 2014 under the care of HPH Hospice, Lecanto. He was born on May 1, 1943 in Dean, KY to the late Dunk and Hazel Meade (Brown) Quillen. JD was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force who served his country honorably for 23 years. He arrived in this area 20 years ago, coming from Kentucky, was affiliated with the Church of Christ, and loved fishing. He is survived by his sons Anthony (Carol) Quillen and Craig (Marizyn) Quillen, both of Ocala, FL; brother Donald Quillen of Whitesburg, KY; sisters Nina (James) Fisher and Dinah Quillen, both of Knoxville, TN; and 2 grandchildren, Jacob of Ocala, FL, and Anthony of La Mesa, CA. Committal Services with military honors is scheduled for Thursday, 2:00 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
