EUNICE C. “NANA” SKELTON, age 91, Beverly Hills, died August 26, 2014 surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Citrus Health and Rehab staff. Eunice was born on July 31, 1923 in Cynthiana, IN to the late Reverend Herman C. and Ada (Martin) Wallace. She was one of nine children. Above all else, Eunice loved her Lord. She spent her life teaching Bible study and researching the Word of God. She was an instructor for Tri-State Beauty College in Evansville, IN for 30 years. Eunice was a very creative person, talented artist in oil painting, she also enjoyed knitting. She was a member of Beverly Hills Community Church. Left to cherish her memory is her husband John Grissen; her son C.C. (Linda) Skelton, CO; daughter Ada (Russell) Hollingsworth, Hernando; brother Norman (Helen) Wallace, IN; sister Ida West, Sarasota; grandchildren Melissa (Mark) Lagoo and Josh (Kristen) Skelton; great-granddaughter Melissa (Mark) McClead and two great-great granddaughters Aubrie and Alana. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 60 years, Clem Skelton “Paw-Paw.” Private arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
