Christopher B. Flippen, 46, of Inverness, FL passed away August 10, 2015 at his residence in Inverness. He was born in Neptune, NJ on September 26, 1968. Christopher was a Presbyterian by faith, and a Patient Service Technician for medical equipment companies. Christopher arrived in this area in 2007, coming from Tom’s River, NJ. He loved watching his son play baseball, and enjoyed all types of sports. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Yankees, and the Nebraska Huskers. He also participated in the Inverness Little League as both coach and official. Chris was a brother of Nu Delta Pi fraternity at Kean University. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey B. Flippen. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Amy Flippen. Other survivors include his son, Timothy Flippen of Inverness, and his mother, Abie Flippen-Smith, and several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as countless friends. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness. The family will receive friends in visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
