John E Fuquay

JOHN E. FUQUAY, age 81, Floral City, died June 3, 2014 under the care of Hospice of Citrus County. John was born on December 19, 1932 in Evansville, IN to the late Henry and Harpie Bell (Harmon) Fuquay. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 as an aircraft mechanic during the Korean War. John lived in California for more than 40 years, owning a barber shop “Sycamore Street Barber Shop.” He was an excellent golfer and enjoyed cooking and grilling outdoors. He is survived by his wife’s Uncle Donald Hill of Godfrey, IL and his extended family as well as a niece Judy Lipking and her family of Evansville, IN. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marilyn after 56 years of marriage. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of private arrangements.
